Young Revolutionary War Heroes Laid to Rest for Memorial Day After Construction Unexpectedly Unearthed Their Remains

They were just in their teens and 20s when they sacrificed their lives in the fight for independence leading to the birth of the United States.

Now, 250 years later, they are being honored for their service.

The remains of more than 40 Revolutionary War soldiers were given their final resting place at a new memorial site called “Repose of the Fallen” in Lake George Battlefield Park in New York over Memorial Day weekend.
