Photo Gallery — May 20, 2026 Procession from Albany to Lake George

On May 20, 2026, a ceremonial motorcade escorted the remains of 44 Revolutionary War patriots from the New York State Museum in Albany to their final resting place in Lake George. Led by the New York State Police, accompanied by Patriot Guard Riders, and transported in historic military vehicles, the procession traveled approximately 60 miles along Route 9 through Albany, Colonie, Latham, Halfmoon, Clifton Park, Round Lake, Malta, Saratoga Springs, Wilton, Moreau, South Glens Falls, Glens Falls, and Queensbury before arriving in Lake George. Patriotic observances were held along the route while thousands of residents lined the route to pay their respects. These patriots now lay at their final resting place — Repose of the Fallen memorial in Lake George Battlefield Park.
